Great value for a decent hotel. Some problems with the room keys, so I had to go back to the reception couple of times to have them reprogrammed. Somewhat outdated room decor, but very clean and comfortable. I was told that the rooms would be refurbished soon. Good breakfast, free car park (tiny, so I was lucky to find a spot) and charming staff.
We stayed at your Hotel on Sunday and Monday night and were blown away how fabulous it was The change in the Hotel since last year is extraordinary, all modernised throughout, but still the lovely staff, food and superb location. The breakfast is WOW WOW WOW! Def better than a 4 star Hotel. The freshly cooked hot food ( not dried up like most Hotels), the choice of fruit, cereals, yoghurts, coffee etc is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast staff are so friendly and helpful too! We met the new restaurant and bar manager Darragh before we left. A lovely young friendly man who I know will be a great asset to your Hotel. We def will be back. We'll done!
We've had a fabulous family stay here. Location couldn't be better, right in ths heart of things. Rooms were clean & comfortable, and we had a sea view which made it even better. I can see some bad reviews on carpets, they seem to have been done up as ours and my parents (on a different floor) was a completely different pattern style.Food was absolutely delicious, we had both Breakfast and Dinner here. The Staff were also amazingly welcoming, friendly and knowledgable! Thank you all for a lovely stay!
Pleasant hotel good rooms with most amenities although no fridge. Staff generally friendly and helpful. Restaurant was closed during our visit with no explanation given. Breakfast fine. Some new staff being trained in bar all pleasant although without knowledge of how to pour a proper pint of Guinness. Our room had a lovely sea view.
My stay at the Atlantic Hotel was wonderful from start to finish. Daire and all his staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home the moment I arrived. ( Those extra little touches for my birthday didn’t go unnoticed) The room was spotless and beautifully decorated— every detail was clearly thought through. Complements to the chef the food was delicious and the service was excellent throughout my stay. What really stood out was the hotel’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Atlantic Hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I can’t wait to return. Adrian and Grainne
Stayed for the weekend. Couldn't fault any of it. Staff were so welcoming at check in and couldn't do enough for us over the weekend. The room was spotless and spa ious and we had everything we needed. My only negative would be we needed a bigger bin. Water was hot, the shower had great pressure. The breakfast was brilliant. Great selection of pastries, fruits cereals and breads as well as a large buffet of cooked breakfast. The staff at breakfast were so welcoming and helpful. The resurant was closed for renovations, will be back to see the updated look and try the dinners.
Had a fantastic weekend at this hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I particularly liked that there were storage rooms available for a surfboard/bike etc (I wouldn't leave anything like that on the car overnight). Good craic in the bar one of the nights. Excellent breakfast. Comfy beds (the front rooms have epic sea views). Only a 10min walk from both the east and west strands. Plenty of bars, local eateries nearby. My only criticism really is that the carpark is very small. It's first come first served and really tight. You might have to park around Ramore or Lansdowne on-street overnight if you can't get in the Hotel carpark immediately. I didn't get a PCN doing this thankfully. (You can pull up into the free carpark for 24 hrs at Ramore also). A bit of hassle but wasn't too much bother on the whole.
We had food here 3 nights in a row it was that good. Great with family’s. Could not fault the food at-all. The manager Dara was lovely made sure we felt welcome! Definitely would recommend to anyone! Thank you
